Nigeria is now the 38th best team in the world and 6th in Africa.
South Africa have dropped to 66th in the world and 13th in Africa, despite winning their last four international outings, with their only defeat coming against Tanzania in the Cosafa Cup at the start of July while Cameroon are now 35th and 5th in Africa despite failing to win a match at the just concluded FIFA Confederations Cup.
