Opposition Watch: Algeria Plot Zambia Downfall

Algeria senior national team have commenced preparation in earnest for their World Cup qualifying double header against Zambia in August and September.

A daunting task awaits the desert foxes when they square off against Zambia's chipolopolo after a poor start to their qualification series with only a point from possible six.
Newly appointed coach Lucas Alcaraz will meet with the Algerian Football Federation on July 6 to put in place the master plan for the double confrontation against Zambia for a place in Russia next summer.

On the other hand, the former Granada tactician is working closely with fitness coach Miguel Ángel Campos and assistant coach Jesús Cañadas as they are prepared to release a list for the CHAN qualifying ties versus Libya.
Lucas Alcaraz 51, started his Algerian managerial journey with a slender 1-0 victory over the hawks of Togo earlier in the month.
