Excited Joel Sarenren Bazee applies for Nigerian passport

Super Eagles latest addition has broken silence over his quest to own a Nigeria passport. There has been lot of questions whether he can make his Eagles debut with only his German passport but the youngster has moved swiftly to posses a Nigerian passport to make sure it doesn't become a problem when he turns up for the two international friendlies later in the month. The 20 year old via a close source said that he has already applied for a Nigerian passport.

"Sarenren Nigerian passport will be out before the end of this week. He has applied for it already, so barring any hitches, he should get it before the game," the source said.

"He is excited and the last time we spoke, he told me of his excitement over the invitation as he has been waiting for the opportunity to represent Nigeria. It's been reviewed that his original name is Osarenren Obazee but was changed to Sarenren Bazee by his German friends who failed to pronounce or write his name correctly and the father hails from Edo State in Nigeria.
