Referee Folusho Ajayi Punished by LMC

The League Management Company led by Alhaji Shehu Dikko took a big decision on Monday by admitting their total disapproval and disappointment in the Referee that took charge of the NPFL new season opener between Kano Pillars and Ifeanyi Ubah.

The controversial moment was when the female referee brought the first half to conclusion after a free kick was played by Ifeanyi Ubah and the ball entered the net.The visitors later left the pitch in the 50minute in protest of the poor officiating.

The league body releases the statements below
''LMC has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the referee Folusho Ajayi in the NPFL game between Kano Pillars & FC Ifeanyiubah.
Referee Folusho Ajayi failed to meet the high standard of the NPFL following her unsatisfactory game management of Kano Pillars vs FC Ifeanyiubah.
LMC has asked the NFF Refs Committee to withdraw referee Folusho Ajayi from future
NPFL games pending full investigation into her performance.''
