Many things must change about our local football and one of them is Walking off the pitch when officiating is going against your team.why should a team walk away when you're only trailing by a goal with 40minutes left for you to possibly win the match ?
Enyimba of Aba did same thing during a pre season friendly match late last year...An EPL team will never dare walkout even if Howard Webb gives two controversial penalties but instead, Mourinho will kick an empty water bottle and collect red card in frustration because they know the implications.
Why appointing a female referee for a star match and the opening match of a male league ?
Kano is a very tough terrain for any match official and a female can never withstand the pressure from the massive home support.Let female officials develop the NWFL and I could also recall that some controversial matches last season were handled by female refs.
I hope the N9M fine to FC Ifeanyi Ubah was not because of the pocket size of the Club owner and not politically motivated.
If another club try such,hope such club will penalized just like that with points deduction too whether privately owned or owned by Government.
Finally, Football is a crazy game that is not only played on the pitch but also off it..All the dramas is what makes the game more interesting.. We should enjoy the current drama and be expecting more.
