Real Madrid have decided to rest Cristiano Ronaldo and Luca Modric in Thursday's cup game against Sevilla following his side 3-0 victory over Sevilla in the first leg of the round of 16 and to enable the team to prosecute the next league game as expected. But the good news for the fans is that, the team captain, Sergio Ramos, is back from injury and will be available for the cup tie.

Moreover, Zinedine Zidane's team will again on Sunday lock horns with the same Sevilla side in the League, in a bid to win the La Liga title after 5 years. Madrid is looking good on the top of the table with 40 points after 16 games with 4 and 5 points ahead of Sevilla and Barcelona who are in the second and third positions respectively. Madrid have so far played 16 games this season while Sevilla and Barcelona who are in second and third positions have played 17 games each.

Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo and Luca Modric will hope to overpower Jorge Luis Sampaoli Moya's team, as they play away to Sevilla on Thursday in King's Cup round of 16 second leg. Also, James Rodriguez the scorer of two of the three goals in first leg will not be available for the encounter after failing to recover from a slight injury, meanwhile Lucas Vasquez and Mateo Kovacic have also returned to the Madrid team.

Sevilla Coach Jorge Luis Sampaoli Moya, said, his side will do everything possible to turn things around against Madrid and Madrid Coach can never stop talking, Madrid will prosecute the cup tie with every seriousness not minding the 3-0 advantage, says Zinedine Zidane.
