Sone Aluko is the Championship Player of the Month of October

Super Eagles and Fulham FC Winger,Omatsone Aluko, has been recognised for his stellar performances by winning the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for October 2016
Aluko beat off competition from Reading’s Ali Al Habsi, Lewis Dunk of Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle’s Dwight Gayle, to emerge the winner.

The former Hull City player was outstanding for Fulham in October, scoring with a lovely solo effort against Barnsley, then had a hat-trick of assists in a memorable display against Huddersfield.
In his reaction, Aluko attributed the award to his Fulham teammates and staff of the club.
“Personally it’s a great feeling to be recognised with this award. It’s a nice feeling to be publicly rewarded for your efforts.
“Ultimately, I think it’s a team award. I wouldn’t get this award if the team weren’t winning and it’s a credit to my teammates and all the staff who have provided me with a platform to play well on.
“The results have gone our way recently and because of this I’ve been able to show my best form,” Aluko said.
And according to Fulham’s manager Slavisa Jokanovic: “I am very happy for Sone getting this award as he has worked hard for the team over the past months, so it is a good reward for him.
“We have seen an improvement to our results of late, so it is also a reflection on the whole team, and I want that hard work to continue so that many of my players will be eligible for this award in future months.”
He was also honoured by Fulham Fc when he was handed their Official Twitter account to answer the fans direct for 15minutes.
