Nigeria Football and Others Media Annual Quiz Competition, 2017 Edition
The first and 2017 edition of the Nigeria Football and Others Sports Quiz competition have received a tremendous boost as the sponsor (Miss Carmelita Akieh) decided to splash a sum of #90,000.00 (Ninety thousand naira) on the sports quiz competition season 1 tagged 'Nigerian Sports, My Pride.'
The competition that the grand finale is expected to hold at City Park in Abuja has been highlighted into three stages namely; the first stage second stage and the grand finale.
Before the first stage, there will be voting for all those who have properly registered for the competition on our popular Facebook group 'Nigeria Football and Others' the details of all the contestants will be uploaded including their studio photographs and each group member will cast their vote for their favourite using the like botton, a member is allow to vote for just one contestant. The first twenty contestants with highest votes within the voting period will be selected for the first stage, that is to say that each contestant will have to start campaigning for vote on our group platform as soon as they have registered, this is to make contest a fun filled competition. The voting date and time will be announce after the registration process has been perfected.
First State
20 contestants will contest in the first stage of the competition, answering quiz questions from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), the Nigerian National Teams and Other Sports in Nigeria. The first stage will hold online on Saturday 15th June, 2017 by 4:00PM. At this stage, ten people will be evicted and the remaining ten will move to the second stage.
Second Stage
10 contestants will be contesting in the second stage, answering quiz questions from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), the Nigerian National Teams and Other Sports in Nigeria. The second stage will hold online on our popular Facebook group 'Nigeria Football and Others on Saturday 15th of July, 2017 by 4:00PM. At this stage, five people will be evicted and the remaining five will move to final stage and the grand finale.
Grand finale
Five contestants will be contesting for the first, second and third position, answering quiz questions from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), the Nigerian National Teams and Other Sports in Nigeria. The grand finale will hold at City Park in Abuja on Saturday 19th of August, 2017 by 12:00 Noon. The first position will go home with #50,000.00, the second position with #30,000.00 while the third will pocket #10,000.00 and there will be other consolation prizes.
